What Makes a Rudraksha Authentic

Authenticity comes down to natural growth patterns. Genuine mukhi lines run from top to bottom without tool marks, and the surface texture is irregular in a way that is difficult to fake convincingly.

Weight and density offer supporting evidence, but they vary by mukhi type and size, so they are best read alongside other checks rather than on their own.

Where possible, non-destructive testing such as X-ray confirms the internal structure matches the mukhi count on the surface — a step we complete before any bead is listed.
